BIZ WALLACE
(she/her) is a captain, artist, waterwoman, and ocean advocate. Originally from North Carolina, Biz has spent the last ten years sailing professionally around the world. Biz holds her 200 ton USCG captains license and is a certified lifeguard and rescue diver. She graduated from USC with a degree in Design & Intermedia and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Biz works as a freelance artist, science communicator, and sailing instructor. In her free time, she volunteers for climate justice and mariner advocacy organizations.
